The General Manager is overall accountable for the business performance of the designated itsu shop. You are responsible for building and leading a proud and professional team. You support your team to deliver a wonderful customer experience, creating a relaxed, comfortable environment for our dine-in customers and providing a fast and efficient service for those wanting to take-out.
The SM & KM support the GM & AGM to run the kitchen and front of house teams. These management roles require strong leadership skills and require someone who can motivate and develop the team. Your next step would be training to become the next GM of your own shop.
The team leader service is required to give great customer service, you will make sure our fridge is full of beautiful products. You will control what goes on to the shelf sending back any boxes that don’t look up to scratch. You will also ensure smoothies and coffees are beautifully made. This role pays £8.30 p/h mystery shopper bonus. This is a great role for someone who is looking to progress into a Service Manager, on average this will take up to 12 months.
To become a Team Leader Kitchen we do require someone who has been a team member pro and understands all the sections in the kitchen. You will also support the rest of the team with any help or guidance they may need! We pay our Team Leader Kitchens £9.10 p/h + mystery shopper. This is a great role for someone who is looking to progress into a Kitchen Manager, on average this will take up to 12 months.
You will be a specialist in these positions working with itsu’s most important ingredients rice and fish! You will be the leader of your section and we are looking for people who want to continuously learn and grow for these positions. You will also achieve a City & Guilds qualification for specialising in fish. The hourly rate for our Rice & Fish pro’s are from £8.20 p/h + mystery shopper
You are now eligible for your £1 mystery shopper bonus. As a fully trained Team Member you should have some training on all the areas in the kitchen and support the sections you know. We also rely on our team member stars to support other new Team Members and help the Pro’s or Team Leaders when needed. Your next step would be to become a Team Member Pro this takes on average 6-8 weeks.
Once you have completed your 10 day training you will become a team member which will give you the opportunity to learn 2 or 3 sections of the kitchen really well. If you are working full time it should take you around 3 months to learn these areas, you will also be entitled to £7.25 per hour and a 50p mystery shopper bonus.
You have just started working at itsu and the itsu 10 day training programme will help you to understand your role and get to know Health & Safety, working in the kitchen and getting to know your new team
