Scope of the Role

The role of an Accounts Receivable Manager (A.R.M) will support itsu’s growing Finance team in both the UK & US market. Role responsibilities will include revenue recognition, account customer and delivery partner management and bank reconciliations.

You will work closely with the F.C. to drive process improvements within the finance department to improve the efficiency of sales/cash processing and month end close. You will work with closely with key stakeholders of the business to produce accurate weekly cash flow reports.

Key responsibilities:

Revenue recognition including shop sales and gift cards

Reconcile bank accounts for UK and US businesses

Ensure indirect taxes (VAT in UK, Sales Tax in US) are correctly recorded

Account customer processing and chasing overdue invoices

Responsible for accurately recording delivery sales and commissions

Point of contact for stakeholders for receipts ensuring they are timely & accurate

Assist in cash flow forecasting

Responsible for the creation & maintenance of accounting processes

Analysis to help add value through making recommendations to drive performance

Help assist F.C. to continuously improve control environment

Create & maintain manuals for finance procedures & keep them up to date

Provide ad-hoc reports & analysis as required

Qualifications / Experience:

Minimum of three years accounts receivable experience

AAT qualified or studying towards a recognised Accountancy qualification (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)

Advanced Excel skills

Strong written & verbal communication skills

Experience of Microsoft Navision 2018 preferred

Management accounts experience preferred
